Sausage Apple Quiche
8 oz. pork sausage, browned, crumbled and drained
1 1/2 cup finely chopped juicy apples
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup biscuit mix
Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble.
Drain off fat.
Combine chopped apple, cheese, and sausage.
Spoon into 9-inch quiche dish or deep-dish pie plate.
Combine eggs, cream, and biscuit mix in a mixing bowl; mix well.
Pour over apple mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes or until set.
